FELISHA A. SHEPPARD

Felisha A. Sheppard is a native of Jackson, Mississippi and is licensed to practice law in all Mississippi state courts. She is a 1998 graduate of Provine High School in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2002, Felisha graduated from Jackson State University with a B.A. in Political Science and again in 2005 with a M.A. in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center (SULC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2011. While she was a student at SULC, she was an executive member of the Moot Court Board, an editor for the Journal of Race, Gender, and Poverty, a member of the Mock Trial Team, worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Political Science at Southern University, and was sworn in for limited practice and conducted court proceedings as a law student in the SULC Divorce Clinic. Felisha is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Higher Education Administration at Jackson State University.
Felisha A. Sheppard is a driven and passionate lawyer. She puts her clients first, in a professional but personal manner. Felisha is committed to Jackson and the State of Mississippi as a life-long resident of Hinds County. She is passionate about providing quality representation to our residents. Felisha's greatest accomplishments as a lawyer have come from cases where she was blessed to have a role in helping to improve the lives of her clients.
